I believe everyone should be free to operate the relationship model that works for them, & which may well be different at different points in their life, as opposed to the relatively small number of relationship models society decrees is acceptable.

Be a "modern" & "independent" woman does not mean that she wants to "wear the pants" in the relationship. It means that she can take care of her self emotionally, financially & physically with or without a man, but would much rather have the time of her life with one in it.
