I am a well educated progressive thinking non-smoking guy who has been separated for 5 years. While I have lots of friends and acquaintances I miss having a special woman friend for more intimate relations.
I'm not just talking about sex (now don't get me wrong I like it a lot!!) but also holding hands, snuggling on the couch watching TV, going for walks and just laughing/playing together.
I like most kinds of music (classical, folk, bluegrass, 50/60's rock) and like going to music festivals.
I like home cooking (do some myself) and red wine. I like to play card games and Scrabble & read good books.
What do I look like - well I'm kind of a bushy haired guy with a Tom Mulcair beard (going grey) about 5 foot 10 tall and with a heavy build.I guess you would call me average looking (not Tom Cruise but not the hunchback of Notre Dame either!!)
I'm NOT into fancy dress and fancy restaurants and I must admit I am not much of a dancer - but I do like holding a woman close while soft music plays in the background.
I like going to the local Y for the aquafit classes, working out on the weight machines and generally BS-ing with people there.
I have two children from my first marriage who are 32 and 35 (both with developmental problems) and no grandchildren.
I would like to find a sensous older woman who would have time to develop a lasting relationship.
Last of all - why the name Cambridge Cat Man??
That's because I live with Buddy the Cat, a 19 year old cat that I somehow got custody of from my first wife when she moved into a no pets condo. She called me up crying & said she was going to have to get rid of him & the kids were crying too so I took him in and now he lives with me until death do us part - since he is 19 years old that might only be a few years.
Now why talk about my cat?? - well it shows that even after I breakup/divorce a person I sill maintain a cordial relationship. Also it shows that I am a cat person & not a dog person - I am OK with dogs but I love cats.
What do I like on TV - I like to watch National Geographic, Discovery Channel, TVO, CBC and WNED.
